We integrate a wide variety of smart home technologies for easy control and monitoring using a single interface. You get that same interface on mobile devices, computers, wall touchpanels and your TV remote. CLIMATE

We make it easy for you to set the perfect temperature for your home regardless of the season or other conditions. Integrating climate is simple by matching the proper climate control devices or thermostats into your existing heating and cooling system. Create a comfortable environment by making adjustments to all zones and managing a simple schedule from the same touch screen or phone that you use to control your lights, shades, and media system. You can also monitor and get “low temp” alerts while away. Quick “home” and “away” modes allow for different schedules to run. Simple and will save you energy.

SAFETY

We specialize in integrating a variety of smart products and safety systems to make your home secure. Our fully integrated systems combine key-less entry, video intercoms, sensors and cameras to give you master control over your entire home right on your smartphone. We can integrate your alarm system as well for total peace of mind no matter where you are. Overall, giving you more information about your home when you’re not there to keep a close eye on things.

LIGHTS

Smart, centralized lighting controls create the perfect setting for any occasion. With the touch of a single button, you can select entire scenes for different moods such as “reading,” “entertain,” or “vacation.” Imagine hosting a dinner and pressing one button to set all lights and adjust window coverings both inside and out. And a single-gang keypad gives more control than a wall full of conventional switches. We can make it easy to manage all of those switches, while eliminating the wall clutter.

INTERCOM

Answer your door from anywhere, either inside your home or out by seeing who arrived on a mobile device or any video screen. But that is just the start. Our Elan intercom’s advanced motion analytics accurately discriminate between people and moving objects such as a passing car and swaying trees. This eliminates false alerts that cause many doorbell camera users to turn off the notices.

CAMERAS

See who is at the front door, check the baby in the nursery, or watch your children play in the yard on any TV or mobile device. All cameras and angles can be recorded to a hard drive or cloud-based recording system for future replay without ongoing monthly fees. Get an alert when there’s activity, making it easy to know when to review the recorded footage.

SMART LOCKS

A smart lock is arguably the most enjoyed part of a truly smart, connected home. Not only will it allow you to come and go as you please without having to wrestle with your keys, it will also monitor who is entering and leaving your home while you’re away. Use your phone to open and close doors and assign privileges to friends, family members, or maintenance staff.

IRRIGATION

Water is our most valuable resource. And it’s getting more and more expensive. Integrating smart sprinkler controls allow you to set exactly when and what to water by managing the schedule yourself, instead of your irrigation expert. These systems know if it’s rained recently. Want to adjust for sun and cloud cover? Check your property cameras and see if you can skip a cycle, then reprogram right from your phone no matter where you are. Make minor corrections to your overall water usage quickly using an annual curve chart.

POOL & SPA

Integrate pool and spa lights, temperature, pumps, jets, cleaners, water features and heaters right into the same app or interface for the rest of your home. ALERTS

A smart home can tell you if something is amiss or someone is on the property. Our sensors look for trouble and report to you in a text message, email or even a call. We can incorporate water sensors to alert you if key areas such as under the dishwasher, in bathrooms, and near water pipes in the basement leak or burst. Other sensors detect temperature swings, both high and low. It’s equally problematic if your air conditioning breaks while you are out of town, as when the heat stops working and pipes freeze. From driveway alerts to camera motion activity or even the doorbell push, you can know before someone even gets close to your front door.

MUSIC

“Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.” Plato. Simple, quick, a few touches and the music you prefer is playing. When it’s this easy, we find most will hit “play” more often. Erik Burke (President of IH) is a piano player and has a strong musical background. Erik wants everyone to enjoy music as much as he does. Using our simple controls while providing easy access to content, we make it our goal to educate you on where to find the streaming music you’re looking for. Music in your home provides warmth, sets the mood, can stimulate work spaces, and of course entertainment.

TV

Watch anywhere, everywhere. We spend much or our days hanging TVs and we’ve been doing it for a long time. We can conceal the ugly components and wiring like cable boxes, Bluray dvd, Apple TV, or Roku players either in closets, furniture or behind the TV itself. We often centrally distribute those sources or whatever you require in a central AV rack to share them to all TVs in the home. This saves money on the cable bill, removes clutter from the living space, gives full options everywhere, and allows for easy future upgrades as technology evolves.

MOTORIZED SHADES

Motorized shades offer a host of benefits and add energy efficiency, comfort and privacy. Sensors detect the sun and set the shades to open to let in the warmth, then close at night for privacy. In the warmer months, they block the sun with a touch of a button. Programmable shades are ideal for large, hard-to-reach windows, while saving time and energy, and minimizing sun-fade on all fabrics.

GARAGE DOOR

Your garage doors are fully integrated into your smart home system. They are controlled by the same app just like all other home subsystems right on any device. Need to open the garage for a UPS delivery? Simple – the power is in your hand. No more wondering- “Did I close it?” If you have remote car start, this allows you to open the door first before warming up your car to then exhaust.

GATE CONTROL

Motorized gates are more than a convenience. They form the first wall of your security system. Integrated into a full smart home system, you can control opening and closing from your smartphone. We add sensors to our gate controllers to let you know that the gate finished its cycle and closed, an important benefit if you have children or pets who might wander.

DRIVEWAY SENSORS

Rural homes and larger properties tend to offer privacy, with more distance between one house and the next, but they present unique security challenges as well. If you have a long driveway that isn’t visible from the front windows, you may not know a car has entered your property until that driver is on your front porch. Smart Magnetic sensors can be an excellent way to know what’s going on at the end of your driveway before a car first enters your property. Once triggered, you get an alert via text or email that a vehicle just entered. If at home, have the music mute automatically and briefly play a customized chime so you are notified.
